Athens MLK Day Parade

​

At the Martin Luther King Jr. Day parade in Athens, I took photos of the parade, bystanders, vendors and performers. I enjoyed the opportunity to participate in a community event through my role as a photographer. To view the full gallery, visit this link.

SCENE at Central

​

As a student journalist it is imperative that one is always thinking like a journalist and looking for stories at all times. These are a few examples of times I have found students that I think have a story to tell and have interviewed them and taken their photo for a "SCENE" to post on the ODYSSEY social media. These require me to think about the best way to take the photo to tell the story. 

Camp Amped gallery

The first photo gallery I ever shot was one at a "Camp Amped" concert at which many Clarke Central students were performing.  It was not ultimately up to par for publishing, but it taught me a lot about what I could improve and how to take better photos in the future. However, this photo was published along with the news coverage of the event.
