Editing articles

As the Editor-in-Chief it is my responsibility to edit every staffer's menu (a monthly journalistic assignment), as well as their feature story for the magazine. I leave detailed edits and conference with each staffer about their piece because I find the coaching method to be the most effective. When conferencing, I am intentional about giving both positive and critical feedback in order to encourage the writer while helping them grow with constructive criticism. I also coordinate editing sessions among the Leadership Team and Editorial Board to make the process as collaborative as possible.
